Tala Bay Hosts Successful South Beach Clean-Up Initiative

ala Bay, in collaboration with the American Digital School, the Jordan Tourism Board, and the Tourism Police department, proudly announces the successful completion of the “اعرف بلدك” campaign held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1:00 PM. The initiative focused on promoting environmental awareness and community engagement through a clean-up event at South Beach - Tala Bay.
This environmental initiative brought together students, community members, and volunteers, who all played a vital role in maintaining the natural beauty of Aqaba’s coastline. The campaign, aptly named “اعرف بلدك” (Know Your Country), aimed to introduce students to various regions of Jordan while fostering a sense of responsibility toward preserving the environment. Participants actively worked to clean South Beach, removing litter and waste to help protect marine life and improve the beach’s ecosystem.
The success of this clean-up event further strengthens Tala Bay’s commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation. Tala Bay extends its heartfelt thanks to all the students, volunteers, and partnering organizations and its employees who participated in making this initiative a success.
