TalaBay Strengthens its Role in Empowering Women and Promoting Their Rights

TalabBay continues its ongoing efforts to support community sustainability and enhance women's economic empowerment. These initiatives are aligned with TalaBay's vision, emphasising collaboration with the UN Women in Jordan, aiming to bolster women's empowerment, rights, and gender equality. In line with this commitment, TalaBay collaborated with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) to organise an exhibition and a recruitment conference aimed to increase women's participation across various professional fields, with a specific focus on breaking stereotypes that hinder women's involvement in diverse work domains. This measure is part of the continuous efforts to achieve gender equality in the workforce and enhance women's role in economic development. Furthermore, TalaBay reinforces its continuous support for women by considering the signing of the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in the near future. This agreement reflects TalabBay's commitment to supporting and enhancing women in all aspects of life, representing a proactive step towards achieving gender equality. As a reaffirmation of its commitment, TalaBay will persist in supporting initiatives and events that consistently promote women's empowerment and advocate for their rights in the community.
